--| Orwell on Good Tea |--- 1. Use Indian Tea 2. Made in small quantities in a China Teapot 3. Warm the pot beforehand (by swilling with hot water) 4. Tea should be strong (6tsp per quart) 5. Tea right in pot (no strainers to imprison the tea) 6. Take the teapot to the kettle (boiling at moment of impact) 7. Stir the leaves in the pot 8. Drink out of a cylindrical cup (not shallow) 9. Pour off cream before using it for tea 10. Milk first; Tea first --> !?!? 11. No sugar. -- |
